Frequently Asked Questions About Pool Service
Straight answers to the questions we hear most from homeowners and property managers across Los Angeles County.
How much does a new concrete pool cost?
Custom gunite pools in Southern California typically start around $65,000 for a basic build and scale up with size, depth, spa integration, water features, decking, and finish selection. We provide a detailed line-item quote after an on-site visit so you know exactly what's included.
How long does plaster last?
A standard white plaster finish lasts 8–12 years with proper chemistry. Quartz and pebble finishes typically last 15–20+ years. Poor water chemistry — especially low calcium hardness or aggressive pH — is the number one cause of premature plaster failure.
Do you offer weekly maintenance?
Yes. We run structured weekly routes across Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Valencia, and Pasadena. Service includes brushing, vacuuming, chemistry balancing, filter cleaning as needed, and equipment inspection — with photos and notes after every visit.
How do you find pool leaks?
We use pressure testing on suction, return, and skimmer lines; dye testing around fittings and cracks; and, when needed, electronic listening devices. Most leaks are located within a single visit, and repairs are targeted so we don't unnecessarily tear up your deck.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — fully licensed, bonded, and insured, with a workmanship guarantee on labor and up to a 3-year manufacturer warranty on installed equipment.
